Dear Avid / Sibelius team,

Is there any chance you might consider putting this "symbols list" in alphabetical order in a future patch? It would make life so much easier!

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the current arrangement.

The list is in the order the rows appear in the pre-Sib 7 symbols list (and how they appear in Edit Symbol even now). Each symbol has a numeric index that identifies it, and these are mostly fixed and that is what determines the order.

That being said, it is pretty painful to find symbols in Sibelius, and I would agree that the particular list of symbols rows would probably be more useful if in alphabetical order.
