Every once in a while there is posting in this forum with a blank subject line. Such a posting cannot be read (at least using my browser - Firefox). I've attached a small screen capture showing this - middle line of the 3 lines shown.

Are these deleted postings, is there something going wrong, or did the poster just no bother to include a subject line? If the latter, is there some way of reading the posting?

If you aren't seeing these messages, you have not been adjudged worthy of joining the Inner Sibelius Circle...


Seriously: it's impossible to remove a topic, but you can blank the subject. Sometimes we then amuse ourselves.

If you want to read one highlight the subject above, press Tab, then press Enter.

Personally, if I delete a message I just changed the subject to say message deleted. Then nobody feels any obligation to figure out how to read the message.

Some of us always feel obligated...

If you click the "search chat page" link below a post, then click the search button, you'll be able to enter a blank thread. Not that I'd encourage anyone to do this.
