Can we get a date or general idea of when we can expect AVID to make Sibelius 8 compatible with El Capitan?

You could also ask when is El Capitan going to be fixed - it's easy to blame Avid/Sibelius for everything but this time......

Exactly - now that we're all "subscribers," it's not unreasonable to expect the product to be updated on a more regular basis. Welcome to the downside of the subscription model, Avid. :-)

Apple rebuilt the audio drivers for El Cap, which changes EVERYTHING about the way audio software works. That being said, Komplete / Logic / Cubase / PLAY - practically all of my other software if compliant after the 10.11.1 fix.

Sounds like El Capitan users are getting the same "crash on file close / exit" bug that I have been getting since 10.10.3. Hopefully we'll get an update soon. Hotfixes should be a breeze (and come much more quickly) with the Application Manager we had to install with Sib 8.

Hi folks,

Our investigations so far indicate that the crash on quit issue is caused by OS X itself. We're working with Apple to get this resolved.

Either way, our plan is to provide full El Cap support with our next release.
