I am looking for a forum where it is possible to listen to and discuss original work with other Sibelius users but cannot find anything. This forum appears to be just for technical issues and I've found it invaluable in this respect. The Score Exchange neither appears to allow discussion, not even to upload a proper mp3 file. I thought I read somewhere that there is a 5Mb limit which is utterly useless but anyway have had no success in trying to upload.

Any suggestions?

You can attach a sib file here, but not a MP3. You can always use a service such as Dropbox and provide a link. (But isn't the sib file more useful when discussing compositional matters? We need to see the notation.)

The Yahoo mail list is a little more music-oriented. Normal email limits on file attachments still apply.

This forum, which despite its name is not particularly Sibelius-based, has potential, but is under-used. Maybe you could help vitalise it!

There are various Facebook groups, but all suffer from the inability to directly attach a sib or MP3 file.

thanks to all for the suggestions -- I've joined Sons of Sibelius so I can have a look at the scores there. The forum does seem underused but perhaps most of the posts are in the personal section I'm not yet able to access.

There are certainly some areas where I would welcome assistance, particularly in some practicalities of orchestration. Arranging doesn't interest me at all though except on the rare occasions when I'm asked to do something.

I'm a member of composersforum.ning.com. Not limited to Sibelius users, but a place to get comments on original works. There are other Sibelius folks there as well.
