I have a score, which I've attached that has a section with 1st 2nd and 3rd and then the final 4th ending.

The repeat starts at bar 37 and goes to bar 68. The 123 ending begins at bar 48. It should play 37-68 4 times and then move on to 69...

I created a new 1.2.3. ending at 48 but it just keeps looping. Thanks for any help. I think it may have something to do with open and closed endings, but I could not seem to get either to work.

I"m wondering if it's the way the score has been notated. (The score is not mine, I'm making rehearsal tracks for my choir so I'm just copying what is on the paper.

If you are going to use the repeat-ending line notation, then the 1,2,3 closed repeat line must extend all the way to bar 68, not stop after a couple of bars. The Repeat 4 line is not well-positioned on bar 69, either.

Thanks, I'll try to fiddle with it a bit more. What about things like "play on pass" on or off etc.

Got it to work. I had attached the 4th ending to the barline and not the first note. thanks.
