I recently bought a new macbook. I installed Sibelius just like I had before, everything went perfectly. I opened a score and started composing. Everything runs normally except for the concert grand piano. The mixer is receiving input from the channel and everything looks normal but still no sound.
I ran the Sibelius7 sound update but that didn't change anything. The .big file in the samples folder is 127,8 MB. I have tried to reinstall the whole sounds library from the three contents discs. When I try to choose the concert grand from the extended menu in the mixer it changes from (C. Gr) to (unalloc).
Has anyone had similar difficulties or knows what the problem might be? It's very strange seeing as it is only the piano that doesn't work, which unfortunately is my main instrument.

Make sure that you have installed all the contents of Disk 1. It contains part of the sound installation it's not just the application. I don't think you need to reinstall the other three disks. You may need to install the bass clarinet patch too.
