If I try to play back from a note selected after the end repeat bar at rehearsal letter C, the playback line jumps to the start of the piece. If I want to play back beyond letter C, I have to delete the repeat bar, when it plays back normally. I also have no bar numbers after this repeat bar.

Which, as we know, are symptoms of the repeat structure being broken. Let's have a look...

I'm not sure what is wrong with the 1x repeat bracket at 49-51. But if you delete and re-create it, playback (and bar numbers) return.

The first-time repeat bracket was too long, and that cannot be corrected by dragging it to be shortened. As Laurence says, delete it and re-create it. But this time, before creating it, make a passage selection from the first rest of bar 49 to the final rest of bar 51, then create the line. Do not put the repeat bracket onto complete bars: just the music inside the bars.

Delete the first time ending line, and re-create it, and the problems go away. It may be because you originally created it on bar 49 then dragged it over the barlines to the right length, it seems to be better to select bar 49 then shift/click on the crotchet rest in bar 51, so you have all the contents of the 1st time bars selected, then create your line.
