Okay Sam,
Robin has reported some bugs on the idea scale new to Sibelius 8. Hope these are fixed in a rapid update .....which is one of the important features touted for this new purchasing model Avid has initiated.

If lasso selections are broken, that's quite serious. It's the only way of selecting an object which appears off the page it's attached to. For example if you push a title off the top of the page for some reason, you can't then click on it to drag it back on. You can only grab it by starting a lasso selection on the page and extending it upwards to catch the title.

I don't see any reason for voting. Surely if someone discovers a bug, and reports it, it should be monitored by one of the development team, noted and taken care of. Same for wish lists. It worked (sometimes) in Sib past, but then we had a conscientious and caring monitor who understood the needs and frustrations of users.

I think in the olden days if a feature got broken between releases, they would consider it essential to fix. It didn't need a show of hands.

In the olden days I was able to phone Jonathan Finn direct with an idea or need and get an free update before the day was out. But that was in the days before Sib became a corporation with no interest in their clientèle other than making money from them. Now, I have to vote? The Finns were able to get rich by caring about what the customer needed. Very few customers have been satisfied with 7.5 and it seems even less want to spend their money on 8.

Sibelius has supported VST plug-ins ever since version 5, and continues to do so. Did you have something more specific in mind?
