Hei!

I'm having a problem using the keypad - whenever I click on something there it stays highlighted until I click it again. For example, if I am inputting some crotchets, then change to quavers, both are now highlighted - it still inputs quavers (i.e. it always inputs the most recently selected) but then if the next time I go to select quavers, it actually unhighlights it despite it being selected. It's more an irritation as it's not preventing me from using the software, it's only really an issue when writing for multiple voices as I can end up with 2nd voice highlighted on the keypad when actually I'm inputting 1st voice notes...

Is there a patch or something that can solve this? I've tried the obvious, restarting program and computer, which only fixes it temporarily.

Is this on Mac OS or on Windows?

Is this an issue with the particular mouse you are using? Does it still happen if you try a different mouse?

Are the video card drivers up-to-date?

Hi Robin,
I'm using Mac OS (Yosemite) and just using the trackpad. Not got another mouse handy but I'll try that later on!

I occasionally have this same problem on Windows. It looks like visual and functional toggle of the keypad icons get out of sync. Everything still works if you don't pay attention to the appearance of the icon.

Shutting down and restart Sibelius fixes it (but is obviously an unappreciated hassle).

And that image indeed shows the difficulty. Is the "staccato" icon unhighlighted because it has not yet been used, or because it has been used multiple time and it now active but out of sync. Very frustrating.
