Hi everyone,

with sib 8, can you copy and paste your playback configurations into the sib 8 playback config. folders that were from Sib 7.1.3 and not have to worry about re-building you score playback configurations all from scratch?

And also, is there a difference between the quality of the mp4's video you can upload to youtube between 7.5 and sib 8?

The Sibelius 8 installer will (optionally) copy user configurations and settings from a previous version.

If there were improvements in Sibelius 8 other than touchscreen features and a scribble function, Avid have kept remarkably quiet about them.

Try the demo (if you can get it to install - I can't) then hold on to your money until the deadline for hopping on the subscription train in a year's time.
