Hi All,

A kontakt2 error message as per the attached picture started appearing EVERY time I close sibelius: "COULD NOT WRITE QUICKSEARCH DATABASE FILE". Please could you help me out? Im slightly worried. Thanks a lot.

This is an issue with Kontakt2, rather than with Sibelius. If you search the web, you will find this Kontakt error message occurs with hosts other than Sibelius as well.

What precise version number of Kontakt 2 is in use? And on what version of Windows or Mac OS?

Has the latest update to Kontakt2 been applied (v2.2.4)?

On this forum, attachments must be less than 900kBytes in size, and of type .pic, .jpg, or .sib with the extension spelt in lower case. Some .jpg sub-types will not attach. Screen-shots should be taken, saved, and attached, in type .png.

Thank you Robin, will check the version of Kontakt2 when I get back from work, but the thing is that I never had any trouble, it all started after installing some plugins and library, but that is also very strange. Never had issues. Im trying again with the pic now.
