Hi

What is the rule regarding the period in which we get free upgrades to new versions of Sibelius? We are currently running 7.5 which we bought last July and I am keen that if we do fall within the upgrade window we do take advantage of this. I cannot telephone the company we bought this from as they no longer exist.

If you purchased 7.5 last July, you will not qualify for a free upgrade to the next version.

No, there is no free update for 7.5 purchased before the New Sibelius announcement date in April 2015.

I upgraded to Sib. 7.5 in May and the site said that by doing so, you will be told about Sib 8 when it comes out, get a free upgrade and 1 year's updates.

However, no link has been sent to me to download Sib 8.

Has anyone got their free upgrade?

Does this free upgrade path still exist? I just got a copy through Amazon and was sent a download code 7.5 rather than 8. I'd rather simply upgrade than have to go through returns.

I have purchased the sibelius 7.5 academic box (discount price from my school) in June 2015. I have looked on my avid account and there is no "product not yet downloaded". Why can I not upgrade freely?
I need to buy a new pc, so I need sibelius to work on windows 10, and if I need to pay again just because I payed the discount student price, that's ridiculous.
