hello

why i do not have the " hit point "
frame in black with the font in white , as set in the directory ?

beside if i turn off collisions [ magnetic layout ]
there is no font visible at all .

Hi,

This is a strange problem, which I can’t duplicate, much less explain. But I did find a hopefully good enough workaround for you.

You can fix the issue by importing a New House Style into your score.

Originally I thought I’d be able to solve the problem by adjusting/editing the text style settings for Hit Points, but that didn’t work.

...Regenerating the house style does work. And exporting a house style from your score into another one does cause issues with how Hit Points display in the other score – but they’re of a different nature.


I’m guessing this is a problem with how the score was imported into Sibelius. It doesn’t look like a native Sibelius score. In addition to the hit point issue. The time signature has a few odd quarks; enlarged size, single staff occurrence, takes on the voice 1 color setting... but also doesn’t respond to text style edits of any of the available options for time sigs.

not so sure about the general state of the concert piano instrument either... but I don't have much knowledge of the midi messaging stuff, so it’s probably just over my head.

Anyhow, I hope that helps out for what it is,
