For some scores Sibelius appears to lock-in the Mulitrest function, not allowing multiple empty bars to be seen as multirest on a score.

Either the Multirest option is not activity (it's normally on for scores, off for parts) or something is splitting the multirests. See the advice below.

I went to your site, to "see the advice below", the FAQ, and there was NOTHING there concerning multirests..???

Hi Lynne--its best if you attach a sib score that exhibits the problem your having with multirests--file size limit is 900k, so that someone can help you.

Have you tried the [ctrl][shift]m toggle to see if that corrects the problem.

Also, turn on view->layout marks to see if there's anything blocking the multirest.

Please watch the name calling Laurence..youve been warned before, and being talked to about it doesnt seem to help.

I've filed a complaint with the administrator about this and other stuff--insulting people, and name calling isnt necessary
