Hello,

I've got my voicings in quarter notes and I've got the rhythm I want them in on a separate guitar staff. I already resigned myself to copying each chord individually, but I was hoping that I could copy the chord, select the note where I want that voicing to go, and paste it into the same note value as the destination/selected note? An analogous situation is like pasting and matching destination font in Microsoft Word. I'd prefer if there were a keyboard shortcut, too.

Do you have a MIDI keyboard, and are the voicings playable on it with one hand? You could step through the existing rhythmic notation with the arrow keys, repitching each chord from the keyboard. I can't think of any easier way.

You could download a plugin called "Paste Rhythm to Pitches" which does the opposite, 1.e. pastes the rhythm over the existing pitches. You could then copy the result back into the guitar stave.
