Sib. 7.1.3: Is Sibelius blind?

In the attached, I attempt to draw a slur over the highlighted selection and Sib shows me this message.

Well, was there something selected which was not in view? We can't tell from the screen-shot, which only shows what was selected and in view. It could have been a multiple selection with other items off-screen.

Absolutely nothing else selected, Robin, and it's just happened again when attempting to add an 8ve line. Ah, I've just switched from panorama to page mode and it's not happening any more, nor when I switch back to panorama.

I suspect it was just slightly too close to the edge of the screen. Changing away and back probably moved the view slightly enough to get rid of this message. It often happens to me with key changes at the end/start of systems.

Thanx, Mike. This occurrence used to happen to me quite often. I was beginning to think it had been fixed. When there is a horizontal selection, I don't think it is possible to have another selection before or after in the score. It is possible to have a similar selection above or below, but there being only 9 staves, the full height of the score was in view. It's no big problem, just an annoyance.
