I am using Sibelius 7 and Photoscore Ultimate to copy music into sibelius to modify for my own use. A lot of this is guitar notation + TAB

I find that occasionally after I have checked (usually fairly quickly!) through a file in Photoscore, and sent it to Sibelius, that sometimes there are a few staffs which are not joined into systems of Guitar/GuitarTAB. Unfortunately this is usually spotted after much editing has already gone on!

I've looked long and hard, but cannot see any way of combining 2 staffs into one system (with the bar lines joined at the beginning of each system). How do I do it?

Currently I have been laboriously adding extra bars to the correct part of the score, and cutting and pasting from the incorrect bits. Tedious to say the least.

You need to make such corrections in PhotoScore, before transfer into Sibelius. Once in Sibelius, it is too late

Although I sympathise, either do it as you have been or check much more throughly for this type of error BEFORE you send it to Sibelius. There is no simpler way!

As is the way of the world, after struggling with this for a few weeks, I found the answer for myself after posting the question.

Thanks for the replies. I just wish the Photoscore Manual was clearer about the purpose of the 2 little icons at the top left of the Scanned/Read picture. I eventually noticed them and clicked on them to see what happened. Voilà, problem solved.

Incidentally, I did have one other problem with Photoscore, but Neuratron have hopefully now solved that for me (won't know until I actually try it!). This Photoscore Ultimate only showing the last page of a multipage score scanned via Photoscore. I had had to resort to scanning using my Canon Software directly, and then importing the scanned pages into Photoscore after the event.
