Lately I am having most staccato notes not articulating at all in the play
mode. This has never happened before. WHat can this be?
I looked in the dictionary under staccato articulations and the duration is set
at 75% of regular 100% duration….

What sample library is in use, played by what player?
Please attach a .sib score file which demonstrates this issue, and point out to us the location of the problematic notes.

Is it a very large score?
Are you using Sib 7.5.1?

As Robin says pls attach a sib score that exhibits this problem, and tell us where to look.

Essentially it's mostly the 2 saxophones.
If you solo the saxes (although you probably have a more reliable sax sample that will not do
'this )

I suspect it is the samples.

I am using 7.5 and created a simple test score with two measures each of half, quarter and eighth notes on middle C and added another two measures of eighth notes, also middle C with the staccato articulation (dot). I then played it back selecting various of the 'trumpet' sound patches. In some the articulation was not noticed, in some it actually seemed to trip up the rhythm and it some it was actually recognized. Why the differences? I am getting frustrated with what is happening in playback. I am using the sound library that came with 7.5,

Please attach the "simple test score" that you are referring to, and identify which "patches" you are trying.
