Dear Fairy Godmother,
1. I would be grateful for a choice of cursors, including a 'heavy one': I use a 17" laptop for rehearsals and for conducting singers to camera, and I lose the cursor because I am older than 40.
2. I break scenes with dialogue. It would be nice if there was more control over text boxes - dimensions and centering, or even auto-lineup - script-writing style!
3. Although text boxes can be used safely in Full Score, it would be nice to be able to select 'include/exclude text boxes' in individual or all parts.
4. I hope Avid have given up the idea of dropping Sibelius because it knocks the socks of Finale.

This is an operating system feature. For instance, if you are using Windows, look at control panel "Mouse", tab "Pointer", and choose a "Scheme" other than "Windows Default".

You can't change the green playback line.
I too find it very hard to follow especially when a page changes and I'm playing along with the accompaniment.
If only it were thicker or a brighter color.

I'm somewhat red-green colour-blind and have great difficulty following the playback line. If I take my eye off the screen for a second it's really difficult to find it again. If people agree, then Peter has kindly put this up on ideascale where it appears as idea# 624 so please endorse it!

Must admit that is one thing Finale gets right. The playback line may be changed to any color/shade or hue.
My most fervent wish though would be to combine features of each program. May be call it "Finbelius."

In my case it would be 5/8 Sibelius and 3/8 Finale.
