Good afternoon everyone:

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weekend. This may have been asked before, but is there a way to keep all the sounds loaded when switching from one score to another?

In Preferences > Playback I unchecked "Unload sounds when switching between scores" but when switching from one score to another it still keeps loading / unloading. This happens even in the same playback configuration.

It's a waste of time really, since I have plenty of RAM to host all instruments.

Im not sure if its necessary or not, but have you tried restarting Sib or your computer since changing your preferences?

And furthermore:
Do you have the same instruments in the first score and the second score?
If not, instruments not used in the the first score but used in the second score will be loaded.

Thanks for the feedback - I think I got it sorted out. This happens when using Sibelius Sounds. John Murdoch already posted a suggestion about this about this 2 years ago in Ideascale.

It doesn't happen when using EWQLSO and the soundsets. Got some playback issues but unrelated to this, will get those sorted out separately.
