Doing a chart for a song and bar numbers past bar 140 are not indicated. I can add and edit bars but Sibelius does not play them. File is attached. This is not an imported midi file but one created from scratch so I know I didn't import any imbedded info. Any suggestions? Trying to get this chart done in 2 hours. Help! (many thanks!)

Such symptoms are always caused by a broken repeat structure in the score.

For instance, in bar 140 there is an end-repeat barline with no corresponding start-repeat barline.

And no instructions have been given to Sibelius in a form that it could understand to match the instructions to human players "Play 8 times" and "Play 6 times". In fact, the end-repeat barlines are configured for single-execution only.

Actually, the "Play 6 times" etc. text items seem to be doing their jobs. The only fault is the lack of a Start Repeat barline at 137 to match the End Repeat at 141.

I figured it out. Didn't put a repeat sign in the correct place. Its always something right in front of your eyes....

my problem is the same but i have a repeat bar at the start and the first time and second time are marked but the bar numbers stop at the first repeat.

Your problem was with your repeat structure - it nearly always is.

1. the 1st time bar needs to extend all the way to the end repeat - drag the RHS.
2. you had TWO 1st time bars on top of each other - obviously, this could only happen because magnetic layout had been switched off for at least one of them.
