Hello again,

I sent a previous query about silent notes which was due to ties been used instead of legato markings. This resolved the issue, thank you. However, I am now struggling to work out why silent notes have appeared on this score. It is not due to ties this time. Could you please help? I have tried to add a new bar and input it again, but it is still happening.

Ties have been incorrectly used, where slurs would have been correct, at the following locations:

Possible dangling tie found in bar 17 in staff Piano at beat 1 in voice 1. Pitch is D(5).
Possible dangling tie found in bar 17 in staff Piano at beat 2 in voice 1. Pitch is B(4).
Possible dangling tie found in bar 21 in staff Piano at beat 1 in voice 1. Pitch is A(5).
Possible dangling tie found in bar 21 in staff Piano at beat 2 in voice 1. Pitch is F#(5).
Possible dangling tie found in bar 22 in staff Piano at beat 1 in voice 1. Pitch is F#(5).
Possible dangling tie found in bar 22 in staff Piano at beat 2 in voice 1. Pitch is D(5).

6 dangling ties were found.

That solves the RH staff.

The problem in the LH staff is caused by the boxed text comment containing the word "silent".

If you want to show the word "Silent", select it and turn off its Play on Pass property in the Inspector.
