Could you please advise how to beam notes played by the left hand on a piano score using both the treble and bass clef. See query 1

Write them all in the lower stave, then use Cross-staff notes in the Note Input tab to move selected ones up.

I don't think you need to do any cross-beaming. See attached.

Indeeed. Though if you're not going to cross-beam the last group of each bar, perhaps it should all go in the upper stave.

I'm not a pianist. Does the left hand do all the arpeggio work, or is it taken over by the right hand in the top staff?

Agree with both Adrian and Laurence. No need to cross-beam here and I would group the last 3 together on the same staff.

As an experiment, I did cross-beam just the first bar to see the difference and note that (correctly) there are no rests after the first group in the left hand. So, would the convention dictate that the rests be hidden if Sibelius is not cross-beaming? To read, it's very obvious what's going on either way, so this is just to satisfy my curiosity.

Doesn't work like that, unfortunately. The CSB tool is majorly limited...it only works on the entire chord. To move just one or two notes you have to use multiple voices and fix the stems by hand.

Anybody know how to do this example? I don´t believe that this basic musical option does not work, in Sibelius. Maybe I have to buy Finale.
