Hoping somebody can help me with this!

I have a full score for strings and gospel choir. The strings play throughout.

The choir only sing in 3 places and as this is a recording session they don't need a 'full' part with multi rest bars between their sung sections, as we will be dropping in for them.

The parts they sing would easily fit onto two pages and I would like to print a part that retains the bar numbers, but only shows the sections where they sing.

ie 8 bars, then a small gap, another 8 bars singing etc. I can direct them during the recording as to where they start but don't want to have to print out a 4 page part full of multi rest bars!

Is this possible?

Maybe you can consolidate each silent section into one multirest, and drag it really small.

If this isn't practical, Extract the Part, so as to unlink its structure from the main score, and cut out the unwanted sections. Add Bar Number Changes as needed.

If they just sang in TWO places, I'd have suggested isolating the empty section in the Part with page Breaks, then simply not printing the second page.
