The logic board of my Mac Book Pro 17 was replaced (4th time in 4 months) and Sib 7.5 (and Sib.6) are no longer opening. I assume that the new logic board changed the computer id (or something) I have spent 2 hours trying to deal with the Avid site to no help. It is Saturday, and no phone support is available. I have the discs and the upgrade activation etc. and still I cannot open Sib. Any advice?

You will need the help of Avid Technical Support to release some license activations for you: fill in the form at:

I would still sendt an email to Avid, if you havent done so already--

AFAIK Sib 6 can only be taken care of by support--but you can try this from an old Daniel post:

"Choose the "Register using a web browser on this or another computer" option and click Next, then go to www.sibelius.com/register in your web browser on your new Mac, and follow the instructions on the screen."

And for Sob 7.5 you might look at this-again,not sure if it will help:
