I recently upgraded to Yosemite on my two computers.

On my iMac everything works fine, but on my office Mac Mini, the playback levels have been disturbed rather much: alle the top lines of the score (violins, sopranos, flutes) are now almost inaudible.

I have reinstalled both the software and the sound library, but it didn't help.

I don't have a clue. Does anyone?

So there IS playback, but very very low volume, or NO playback at all?
And the rest playback ok?

Ps Could there possibly be some kind of EQ, etc on the Mac Mini?

Hi Bob, tahnks for your quick reply. There is playback, but at a very low volume. I experienced the same thing years ago when upgrading to Sibelius 6, but it was corrected in a later update.

Where should I look for an EQ on the iMac?

In Sibelius look in the Play tab>Setup>Playback Devices>Effects page
(click on that very little dot in a box--also pls see p 524-525 Sib 751 pdf ref manual).

For the entire Mac I was thinking of something possibly like this:

I would also check all your mixer faders, and also possibly attach a small Sib file that shows the problem.

Thanks for the advice! The balance had been put solely on the one side in the OS System Preferences/Sound and thus the solution proved very simple :-).
