I`m downloader the Wallander installer, but at the end of this process, I m not given any further advice of what to do other than to `pause`, `cancel`, `clear list`, or `close`. Have now tried this 3 times, and suspect that it may be my avast (free) anti virus stopping me from a full download of the program. There is no sign of it on my C drive. Avast does not seem to show me any way to temporarily stop the anti virus program thus enabling me to complete the installation.

Should I contact Wallander or is it a simple process which I haven`t sussed?

Is your web browser showing you a list of downloads that includes the installer? Double-click on it.

Laurence, Robin, After the downloader had finished, I was given two choices which amounted to the same thing - delete. Have just downloaded the installer again for Windows 7 from Wallander:-

NotePerformer for Sibelius (version 1.3.3) - Windows Installer (Windows 32-bit/64-bit, Windows Installer)

And there was a third option I didn`t immediately notice the first time round, and upon clicking I was given the option to `download anyway`. (Funny and extremely vague computer explanations!! It seems to me that the programming fraternity just doesn`t understand the art of logic. Why would I be given two options to delete, then have been given a hidden third option to `download anyway`?

I now have NP in both Sib 6 and 7.

Ah. Was this one of Windows' "The publisher cannot be verified...." warnings? Common when installing software from smaller companies, who cannot be bothered with the trouble and expense of getting their product Windows-certified.

You can't just skim over the information on this sort of page, I'm afraid :-) It's there to protect you, but sometimes needs over-ruling.

Could have been worse. You might have had a Mac, and they can make it a REAL nuisance to install non-approved software.

I as a mac user have had no problems installing note performer, worked first time really well. just a right click needed on the install package select open file, then select open again at the warning message, installed with no problems.
