Hi - can anyone shed any light on this please? I'm running Windows 8.1 - and have installed a Lexicon Alpha external sound card. As soon as I select the Alpha's ASIO drivers in the 'Audio Engine' - Sib freezes and locks up.
If I select 'Primary Drivers' Sib operates okay (but there is latency). Has anyone encountered this and knows of a fix?

And before someone digs up the earlier thread where I said a Lexicon Alpha worked OK, this IS that installation, and I had assumed that no report of failure indicated success.

Apparently Michael has only just had the time to fully explore his new system. We've tried swapping portaudio.dll, and checked that it's plugged into a USB2 (not USB3) port.

Possibly you need Lexicon support, not Sibelius.
