Sib. First: Sibelius First Sounds Install Problem

Hi I've just installed my copy of Sibelius First from the disc and no problems...

I then went to install Sibelius First Sounds from the disc and I keep getting this error message about half way through:

There was a problem unpacking the data: '[Ernno 13] Permission denied'

Really glum - was looking forward to an easy install and being able to get going straight away. :-(

Can anybody help please?

This is either a bad DVD-ROM disk, or a marginal DVD-reader drive which cannot read all the disk.

You could try any of the following:
- try gently cleaning the DVD-ROM, and try again;
- try exchanging the DVD with a new one from the vendor;
- try reading the DVD in another DVD-drive and copying the entire contents of the DVD-ROM to a (large enough) USB stick, then bring the USB stick to your PC and install from the USB stick.

Pls also try turning your antivirus program off, and trying again--and if your on a Mac try repairing permissions.

You might also need to be logged in as an Administrator
