Ever since I started using sib sounds I've had problems getting staccatos to sound on trumpets in particular but also trombones and horns. They would sound correctly initially, then after 5/10 minutes become almost silent - not good when exporting audio.

Approx 6 weeks ago the graphics card in my iMac became faulty. It was replaced and from then on staccatos have sounded correctly??

50% of written duration is good enough effect for me. It works all the time.

Good. I find it hard to see any connection, but you're happy now, right?

The question was, is there a possibility the faulty graphics card had an impact on sibelius. I do accept this is quite far fetched.

Seems unlikely. But I'd believe anything of a Mac. Macs are magic. PCs just work. :-)
