I work with the Sibelius team at Avid and am fortunate enough in my position to get the chance to work with customers. Recently, Poorya, a Sibelius user from Iran, reached out to us to share that he translated the Projects section of the Sibelius 6 handbook to Persian. With his permission, we wanted to share this valuable resource with the community so that any musicians who speak Farsi can use the translated handbook. See Attached.

This sounds like a very good initiative!

If Avid thinks it's worth the investment, they might care of including all Persian, Turkish and Arabic key signatures in a standard version and develop plug-ins to provide correct playback.

Oriental music sometimes used the Hamparsum Limonciyan notation by the end of the 19th century, but nowadays staff notation has become standard.
