Hi, I've just noticed I'm short of a staff (2 bars only) in mid score. How do I go about adding an additional staff mid score? I tried : CREATE > Other > OSSIA STAFF but that staff appears "compressed" in size compared with the others.
FYI - I originally wrote this score in an older Sib. version (I think it was V.4) I'm now working on it while I'm now on V. 6.2

Don't think 'create mid score' but rather 'create from the beginning, but hide when empty'. The function you need is called Hide Empty Staves.

Alternatively, if you never want a small staff size in your score, you can change the small size to 100% of the large size.

I don't know where that is hidden in Sib 6, but in Sib 4 it's in House Style / Edit Engraving Rules / Staves.

But if you want your short staff to have an instrument name in the left margin etc, Laurence's way is probably better.
