When I start up Sibelius, is there a way to bypass the Open… or Recent… dialog when I just want to work on the same score I've been working on for days and days and days…?

Misplaced jazz guitar player, would play chamber music on violin if could relive life, have retired from day job, composing chamber music and writing parts for a jazz group. Sibelius 7, Mac OS 10.7 aka Feral Cat.

I keep multiple scores open for days on end with no ill effect.

On a PC you can right click on the Sib icon and choose the file from the jump list. Or, create a desktop shortcut to the score and double click to open directly.

Not sure how that translates into the MAC world, but there must be similar functions.

Sibelius itself does not have a way of opening with the last score open. I typically double click on a score as mentioned above.
I would probably use a "open with last score open" option if it were available.

There is unfortunately no way to automate this with a plugin.

Drag the icon of the score to the dock. (You only ever have to use a single click from then on!)
