Dear all,
I have just re-installed Sib 7.5 after wiping my hard drive and installing OS X 10.10
The program runs perfectly but ... it says Opus Text and Helsinki Text were not found on my computer.

My Sib 7.5 is an upgrade from 7.0 and at the moment 7.0 is not installed.
Should I reinstall it to get the fonts back?
Or what should I do?

Maybe try installing Scorch:

No, Scorch does not help with the fonts used by Sibelius 7.x

Sibelius isn't finding them. But can you locate them using Finder?

Macintosh HD/Library/Fonts/. . . OpusTextStd.otf. . . HelsinkiTextStd.otf

[That's coming from the OSX 10.9.5 (Mavericks) that's installed on my computer, I don't think v.10.10 would be any different]

Please attach a screen-shot of this error message.

Does this error message occur:
(a) when launching Sibelius by itself; or
(b) when opening a .sib score file?

If the error happens when opening a score file, did the score file originate in a version of Sibelius earlier than 7.0?

Very strange ... in the Library / fonts I can only find a new font I had to install for the same specific score but otherwise it is completely empty :O ... but if I go to the font book in applications I can find both Opus Text, Opus Text Std, Helsinki Text and Helsinki Text Std.

Actually it pops-up the font conversion window that normally appears when you are importing a .sib file from an external or old source. It says "these fonts were not found on your computer - please say what Sibelius should do" and by clicking Use Defaults everything seems to run as normal ...

Most probably the score was created (not by me) on a version previous to 7.0 but when I had 7.0 installed it worked perfectly ...

Now that I told the file to Use Defaults the window is obviously not popping up but I feel the problem may not be solved yet.
