I have a song notated, most of which is written in dotted eighth-sixteenth patterns. I need them played back in a swung eighth note feel (really in a quarter note-eigth note triplet pattern). Rather than re-notate the entire song, is there a way I can adjust the playback so that it will swing like this? I have tried the standard "Rhythmic Feel" playback options in the Performance menu, but none of them make the sixteenth note long enough.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use the plugin "Straighten written-out swing" to re-notate as straight eights, then write "Swing" over the stave in Tempo Text.

The plugin's in my Note Input/Plugins menu. As always, I can't remember if it was shipped or I downloaded it. But if I downloaded, you can too :-)

I seem to recall (but can't find -- any help appreciated) a plugin that does the opposite -- turns 2 eights into dotted eighth and sixteenth (or maybe offers choices of what to turn them into?) I saw it somewhere in Sibelius but can't remember where. Thanks!
