Dear Sibelius users,

In the midst of making corrections to my score, a space appeared above the time signature. I have tried various solutions but nothing seems to change its position. Could anyone offer ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks so much.

Pls attach a .sib score that demonstrates this problem..file size limit is 900k.

It's probably a Special Text Time signature off-set vertically by magnetic layout. If so, do Layout > Object > Off

Thanks for your message back. I did try your thought but it didn't change the space above the time signature. Could you tell me what a Special Text Time Signature is? And if you have any other thoughts about this I would very much appreciate them. Thanks.

Thanks Robin. I will send the score as an attachment in this e-mail. I have tried this yesterday and I am not sure that it got attached. Could you let me know if you don't receive the score as an attachment? Thanks very much.

There was no attachment to your post (this is a web forum, not an e-mail system). This forum has a maximum file size for attachments of 900KBytes. If your Sibelius file has too many "versions" inside, it can exceed 900KB. If so, export the current "version" as a stand-alone Sibelius .sib score file, and attach that. You can see for yourself whether the attachment works, as your post should have an attachment showing.
