Hi, I'm new to Sibelius, it seems amazing.
But, having a problem. When I export a video of my piano track, the playback line is lagging behind the actual notes being played, so it doesn't match up to what is actually being played. I have a metronome mark on the song at the start (attached to the first note of the song), and ensure that the correct (same) tempo is also shown in the transport window, but still the problem persists... it's driving me mad. I'm probably doing something daft.

While I'm on, I'm also trying to export the song as a pdf, but it keeps exporting as a Firefox html document. When I try to download the file from within Firefox, I don't get the option to export it as a pdf file, just a Firefox file....

if anyone can suggest anything, that would be great...

You'll need to upgrade to 7.5.1 for a fix to the video playback problem.

Are you using Sibelius (the full product) or Sibelius First?

The lag on the playback line is a known defect with Sibelius First v7.1.x.

It was fixed in version 7.5 of the full Sibelius product. There has not been a 7.5 version of Sibelius First.

Yes, I am using Sibelius First version 7.1.3
So, it seems to be a well-known problem, and the solution is to upgrade to the full version of Sibelius.... hmmm... I'll think about it for a while!

I have the latest full version of Sibelius and the playback line lags just a little bit behind during video export. Is this still a known problem that is waiting for a fix or is the issue on my end?
