Hi,

I recently was forced to update my OS to Mavericks (10.9.5). Now it seems that Sibelius 7.5 and Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 won't communicate with each other anymore.

The problem is, that when I load a sound configuration that uses Vienna Ensemble Pro, Sibelius doesn't connect automatically to Vienna Ensemble Pro. This is nothing new for me, but when I try to manually establish the connection by clicking the "show"-button either in Sibelius' mixer or Playback Devices windows to make the Vienna Ensemble Server plug-in pop up, it gives me a blank window. (see attached screen shots. I use a dual monitor setup, so there are two screenshots. I opened some other plug-in windows to show you that the problem only concerns VE Pro). Since I can't open the plug-in window, I can't connect Sibelius to VE Pro. This is pretty bad, since I use VE Pro as a mixer for every single Sibelius project that I work on.

You can, but it's a kludge. Pose the message, go back and edit it. It looks as if the original attachment has gone, but it hasn't. Choose the second one and send. Repeat for further attachments if you like.

Thank you, Laurence. That really is a kludge if there ever was one. Very counterintuitive.

As for the VE Pro problem. A simple uninstall/re-install process seems to have resolved the issue.
