I have been trying to get a cymbal sound in my score and have not been able to. Can anyone tell me how to get it?

For the crash cymbal in the sample score, the noteheads are of the wrong type, and on the wrong line of the staff.

For the drum-map that you have associated with that staff, the crash cymbal requires a cross note-head on the first leger line above the staff, as shown in the first bar of the corrected score I attach below.

Alternatively, if you want the crash cymbal sound to be associated with the notehead you have used on the centre line of the staff, then you would need to re-define the drum-map to set that up.

I tried to download your attachment but received a message that I needed to update to a newer version. I updated to the newest version and still receive the same message. Any suggestions?

Your posts declare that you are using Sibelius 7.5. What version of Sibelius are you in fact using?
