All in the subject...

I need to hear the score but nothing will play after I updated the sibelius sounds.

Switched back to other configurations (Sib 6 essential, GM (basic)) and still no playback...

Any ideas?

Mac OS or Windows?

Try restarting the operating system, and try again.

Please attach screen-shots of the following Sibelius dialogue windows:
1. Playback devices;
2. Audio Engine Options.

I figured it out, first time I installed the update, I didn't restart.

It's only after a few days that I restarted but the problem was still there.

I reinstalled the update then immediately restarted.

problem solved.
