Researching this, I found the following.

Please note Im not completely familar with this, so hopefully someone who is will chime in:

http://www.pertout.com/Microtonal%20Notation%20Font.pdf

# 248 and 248 I believe are what youre looking for. (Pls see attachment)

The font these come from is available here: in True Type and
PostScript Type 1:

http://www.pertout.com/PhD2007Introduction.htm

For playback, they appear to be quarter tones, the same as ordinary quarter tone playback in Sib.

Again, I hope you or someone can help and see if this information is possibly able to help you.

Thanks Bob

Instructions on installing fonts into Sibelius are shown in the attachment.

This is done in Preferences > Music Fonts

The font must first be downloaded unto your computer and would show up in a Font List in your word processor (Word or Pages) as discussed here: http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/helpcenter/chat/chat.pl?com=thread&start=401809&groupid=3&&guest=1

Attached to this post are examples of koron and sori with all the necessary work having been done to import them into a Sibelius score.

The koron replaces the normal Sibelius "quarter flat" symbol.
The sori replaces the normal Sibelius "quarter sharp" symbol.
This means that you can use the "quarter flat" and "quarter sharp" buttons on Keypad 6 to attach koron and sori to a notehead: but please note that the displayed icons on the Keypad 6 keys remain unchanged.

As preparation for using the koron/sori yourself:
1. save a Sibelius Housestyle from one of the attached Sibelius scores. Only scores derived from this Housestyle will display the koron/sori. If you prefer, you can save a score with this Housestyle as a Manuscript Paper for future use (it is not possible to modify Sibelius to make the koron/sori available without a Housestyle or similar Manuscript Paper).
2. Download the "Microtonal Notation" font, which is currently available as a ZIP archive at:
http://www.pertout.com/Microton_TT.zip
You need to download that ZIP, unzip it to obtain the TrueType font "Microton.TTF", and then install that font into your operating system.

You need to do items (1) and (2) above only once per Sibelius installation.

From then on, each time you want to use the koron or sori in a score, import the special Housestyle before writing any music (or open the Manuscript Paper you made), then use the Quarter-Flat or Quarter-Sharp keys on Keypad 6 to attach the koron or sori to noteheads.

[It appears not to be necessary to define Microton.TTF as a Music Font in Sibelius Preferences].

Dear Robin
In the past I used your help to import Persian accidentals into my Sibelius 7.1 program. When I transferred the program to a new computer I lost the accidental and it went back to the default. Do you have a suggestion. The link is no longer available. Currently I am still using Sib. 7. Thoughts? Thank you! Christin
