Is there a way to hide empty bars in an ossia staff which continues on after there is no more to play?

In Sib 7.5 its the Home Tab>Instruments>Change>Others>No instrument (hidden)

At the far right of the ossia there will be a rectangular box (turn on view->invisibles, if necessary). Drag this to the left. It is always better in the long run to select the actual bars over which the ossia is to go before inserting the ossia.

[Edit:} In my current piece, the end of the ossia is shown by a draggable key sign. Moving this extends or contracts the ossia bars - there is a key change a few bars after the ossia, which it seems to have picked up! In concert pitch mode, it is simply the box described earlier!
