I have had more issues with installing this software than I know what to do with. First I could not actually get the program to install, but luckily I was able to figure that out. Currently I am installing the Sibelius Sounds (which I believe downloaded just fine from the avid website). The installer takes me through everything but at the end of the installation, it says everything is installed (patches and samples) except for the Wind Samples.

Am I doing something wrong, can anyone help?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder "Sibelius 7 Sounds" at:

C:\Program Files(x86)\Avid\Sibelius Sounds\Sibelius 7 Sounds

Right-click on the folder "Sibelius 7 Sounds" and select Properties. Then tell us the "Size" of the folder.

Hello Robin,

The size listed under properties for that folder is 33.8 GB (36,359,090,236 bytes)

Close, but not quite enough: about 500 MB missing.

Try disabling your anti-virus, and running the Sounds Installer again.

Hello Robin,

I disabled my antivirus and ran the installer again. It still said upon completion "still to be installed: Wind Samples"

In which case, I can only suggest that you try the entire Sounds installer download again. Set the PC not to go into stand-by or any other power-saving mode before starting the download. Save the download into a different place than before.
