Hi everyone

couple questions regarding slash notation...

When you have slash notation in a compound meter like 9/8, is it conventional to have dots after the slashes (like screen shot 1), or slashes without dots (screen shot 2)?

If the latter, is there a way to remove/hide the dots in Sibelius?

The dots don't worry me. But if you don't want them, you could write crotchets and hide the quaver rests.

Sensible publishers accept that "the convention" is now "the way Sibelius does it without making you jump through too many hoops". :-)
