Is there a way to import custom symbols made from a previous house style in a way that doesn't replace the current custom symbols?

A custom Symbol (and, indeed, a custom Instrument Change) may Copy/Pasted between two open scores, and will then appear in the new score's menu for future use.

I don't know if a pasted Symbol overwrites a user slot. Try.

You can do this for text styles and lines as well.
