Hi,

I created a piano piece treble and bass clef and added a vocal part . In editing and arranging the vocal part I must have done something that in playback about half way thru the piece the vocal part carries the notes played from that point forward over top of subsequent notes. To the point you cant really hear the new notes being played.
Cant find anything about this . Any help appreciated .

It sounds like a dangling tie: maybe the score has a tie where it should have had a slur. If you want more definite advice on this, please attach the score in question, so that we can see what the issue is.

You've probably used a tie (Enter on Keypad 1) rather than a slur (press S) somewhere. Please attach the sib file if you need more help.

At the end of bar 10, you have the Midi message ~C 64,127; it's attached to the vocal line, not the left hand of the piano. click on it, hit Delete, and you're done!

Hi Ron thank you that was the issue as you suggested. I don't use this too much and although I have had it for a while still pretty new to the whole thing. Thank you all who responded to the query and Ron for the key .
