A cord on a staff, cegc.. I want the stems for ce down and gc up. I highlight the gc and click "stems and beams positions " under reset notes and nothing happens.
I jumped from Sib 5 to Sib 7.... like going back to kindergarten again... Help please guys

Put the top two notes in Voice 1, the lower two in Voice 2.

Just as in Sibelius 5...

That was a little inaccurate... voice 1 and voice 2 both have the stems down.

Select the passage. Open the Inspector. See the box labelled "flip", near the top, on the left? If there's anything in it, click until it clears. may take two clicks.

If this doesn't sort it out, please attach the sib file so we can see what's happening.

Thank you Laurance...I persisted and reversed what I was doing and "success!!!" i.e. I changed Voice 1 for voice 2.
You put me on the right track....Thanks again :-)
