Change "Dim 3rd" to "+2"
AND
"Dim 5th" to "+4" I believe:

If you select the chord with your cursor and right-click on it (or Cmmd + click on Mac) you'll see a pull-down menu. (See screenshot.)

If you have a chord that it C7(#4) and choose:
Chord Symbol>Equivalent Chord Text
as in the screenshot attached, the chord will be changes to C7(#ll).

This does not word w/Legacy Chords but only the newer chords of Sibelius.

You can cycle thru the order and see what's available but I don't know if you can control the pattern.
====
However, if you what a specific spelling of a chord BEFORE you enter it you go to: Text tab>Edit Chord Symbols

I've actually done this (even though I use only Legacy Chords) as an experiment, but you'll have to read up on this process by going to:
Help>Sib 7.1.3 Ref Manual in the top of your menus and find "Edit Chord Symbols".

Using "Edit Chord Symbols" you have to choose the chord you want to edit in the left-hand menu and if it's not there I believe you can not create your own chord, something I've requested as a feature years ago.
====
You can also use a Legacy Chord in singular instances by going to:
"Chord symbol from the Chord symbols (special) category of the Text > Styles > Style gallery to type a single legacy chord symbol into the score."

If there is a plugin to do this for you and I've hit on the right subject someone will be along soon!
====

PS - If you're working with complex chords I would suggest using Legacy Chords exclusively, as you get what you type in AND you get a pull-down menu to keep your favorite chords.

Hi Richie--

I think his question is in regard to this plugin:

http://www.sibelius.com/download/plugins/index.html?plugin=254

"Analyze Melodic Intervals

Added 22 Oct 2009 (last updated 07 Mar 2014)

For use with Sibelius 6, Sibelius 7.1 and Sibelius 7.5

Written for Art Matthews

This plug-in analyzes the size and quality of all melodic intervals in a selection: perfect for correcting theory homework, making answer keys for Sibelius worksheets, or to aid in score analysis or study. Not only does it support up to quadruple diminished and augmented intervals, additionally it colors green any diminished unisons, as they are a point of theoretical discourse. There is also a "number of intervals analyzed" tally, and and tally of any diminished unisons that were analyzed. It handles muti-voice activity and color codes the analysis to correspond to Sibelius's built-in voice color-scheme.

Thanks Bob
