Running 7.5.1 under Mac OS Mavericks, trying to play back a piece in 3/2 meter with swing eighths. Changed to Heavy Swing under Performance, connected Swing direction to Dictionary, still plays back with straight eighths. Does anyone know whether swing playback is limited to 4/4 or 3/4, or to meters where quarter note is the primary beat unit?

Swing 8ths & 16ths should work in any meter. There's a bug in 7.5 which seems to be still there in 7.5.1.

There was reportedly a fix in 7.5.1 but it doesn't help existing scores. I haven't investigated it fully yet. Could you try importing one of the standard House Styles (even if it makes other, unwanted changes) and see if it helps?
