Sib. 7.0: Sib 7 requiring Activation after upgrade to 7.5

For a while I need to continue using sib 7 concurrently with Sib 7.5. Many of the people I work with are using Sib 7 and I consistently forget to save a version for them. (saving is a reflex habit for me and I don't even notice I'm doing it most of the time).

The problem is that my Sibelius 7 told me today that it is not activated. This is new since my upgrade to sibelius 7.5. When I enter the Avid license manager it shows that my copy of Sib 7 and 7.5 are both activated.

How can I get my Sib 7 to remain activated? Or how can I reactivate it to have both on my computer at once?

Thank you Bob.

Will this then deactivate both 7.1 and 7.5? I would like to have them both activated. Will this help me do that or is this just switch my activeated Sibelius to 7.1?

If you update to 7.5.1, it is simpler to re-activate the old 7.1.3, and deletion of folders is not required.

Here is the update.

Updating to 7.5.1 did not change the situation. I still could not activate Sib 7.1

However erasing the files as described in the article allowed me to reactiveate both. Just make sure you have your activation ids and and system ids handy. I had to dig through a formidable pile for them.
